If you have been at the club in the last month, you have noticed the HydroMassage Lounge area that we created at the base of the main stairs. We have been brainstorming space to add these lounge chair models to our existing HydroMassage Beds for well over a year. This location was met with mixed emotion. The biggest concern we heard was that this area was not private enough. Truth be told, it wasn’t meant to be as private as the bed models. The concept of the lounge chair model is that they are much more casual. In fact, many clubs put them out in the open on their fitness floors. We didn’t feel that was the right choice for the RAC so we invested in the walls that give a sense of separation and its own space. For those that want privacy, the bed model is the best choice.
If you have not tried HydroMassage, I would highly encourage it. Just stop by the Activities Desk and ask about our complimentary 3-minute trial. I have yet to find someone that tried it that said they do not like it. Most people comment on how amazing it felt. It is great for recovery after a workout and some members like to use it before they work out. It is easy to add HydroMassage to your membership. Just stop by the Activities Desk and fill out a piece of paper. You will be given a code that will give you access to ten-minutes per day. The code can be shared among family members.
