About

Rochester is Stacy’s hometown. It is where she was raised and where she chose to raise her own family on a small acreage just outside of town. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2000 and is certified as a CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist) through NASM. Being active in the gym and in life has given her the drive to pursue other pastimes such as catering and event planning. However, spending time with her husband and 4 adult children is her most treasured time.

What led you to the RAC?

The RAC is a place of excellence which is why I was a member for over 15 years before becoming a trainer. That excellence in the training, service, people, equipment, and facilities led me to want to join the training team.

What would you like to say to someone who is considering personal training?

Whether you are a seasoned athlete or one new to the gym, personal training can help acclimate you to the environment, help you realize your potential, give you the accountability you need, aid you in achieving your goals, and/or assist you attaining the healthy lifestyle you are looking for. Trainers can be one of these things: trainer, coach, motivator, accountability partner, encourager, or cheerleader; however, I feel my clients inspire me more than I could ever reciprocate.

What is something you wish people knew about exercise?

People are stronger and more able than they often realize or give themselves credit. Once they begin, especially with a trainer, they will realize their goals are closer and more attainable than believed and that they are able to achieve more than imagined.

Do you have a favorite exercise quote?

A quote I live by in life, relationships, and the gym…
“We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” Aristotle
