Ending Your Membership
We would be sorry to see you go, but we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible. Because all Rochester Athletic Club memberships are based on contracts, we do require written notice to cancel your membership. Since memberships are billed one month in advance, we kindly ask that you provide your written notice by the 20th of the month prior to your desired end date. This allows us to ensure proper service and accurate account reconciliation.
The Resignation Form may be downloaded from the link, or a paper copy can be picked up at the Front Desk.
Please note: RAC Perk Points automatically expire on the last day of membership. You must redeem your points before your membership ends or the points will be surrendered. For directions on how to access your Perks account and redeem your points while you are still a member, click here. You can learn more about the perks program on the RAC Perks webpage. To end (cancel/terminate) an Open-Ended Membership do one of the following:
- Turn in a completed Resignation Form at the Front Desk, Business Office or Drive Up Payment box by the 20th of the month. You remain a member until the end of the month.
- Email our Membership Specialist. Include your first and last name, mailing address, and the month you would like the resignation to be effective. Your email must be received by the 20th of that month.
- Fax a printed and completed Resignation form to (507) 287-9327 by the 20th of the month.
To end (cancel/terminate) an Annual Contract membership:
- If it is the end of your 12 month commitment, your membership will automatically continue on as an Open-Ended Membership with no additional joining fee. It you wish to end your membership at the finish of your 12 month commitment, turn in a completed resignation form at the Front Desk by the 20th of the final month. You remain a member until the end of that month.
- If you are moving 50 miles or more away from the club, email our Membership Specialist or call at (507) 287-9315 for assistance.
- If you would like to buy out your membership before 12 months have passed, email our Membership Specialist or call at (507) 287-9315 for assistance.
