What is your approach to training?
My approach to training focuses predominantly on the concept: Fitness for Life. Whether your goal is to run a mile or a marathon, look fabulous walking down the aisle, go hiking in the Himalayas, or have enough energy to run after your kids, I will create a program to help you achieve just that. Living our lives to the fullest, whether it is at home with your family or on an adventure half way across the globe, is attainable at any age and starting fitness level. I will help you put a plan in place. Transformation does not happen by chance, it happens by change. It requires physical, mental, emotional and nutritional systems to be successful. My job is to help you create these systems, while providing motivational support to help you stay on track when life challenges you.
What do you enjoy about being a personal trainer?
Living a healthy, happy and productive life is my personal goal, so helping others achieve this too is extremely fulfilling. Every client is unique in terms of goals, motivation and starting fitness level. I thrive on the challenge of helping everyone I work with discover their inner drive to be the best version of themselves. I get so much satisfaction from watching my clients evolve their views on health and fitness and hearing about the knock-on positive effects on their careers, relationships, energy and overall happiness level. Whether your goals are to be more adventurous, achieve a higher performance level in your sport, want to have a fit and healthy pregnancy or just want to prevent an injury while shoveling Minnesota snow - I will create a program specifically for you. Seeing you achieve your goals (and having fun while on your journey) is what I love most about my job as a trainer!

Born in County Cork, Ireland, I immigrated to San Francisco, California at 22 years old. After one awesome husband, two adorable kids, three unique wedding ceremonies (to the same guy!), four major relocations (Ireland => CA => MA => NY => MN) and five continents explored, Rochester has become home due to the awesome people and tight-knit community that makes it such a great place to live. I absolutely love photography, travel, adventure, trying new foods and learning new skills. I’m ridiculously afraid of worms (that hasn’t kept me from planting a vegetable garden, though I do get my kids to make sure it’s safe) and falling from heights (I needed the instructor to push me when I bungee jumped and solo skydived in my 20’s). Sometimes when we face our fears, we need a little help, right?
