What would you like to say to someone who is considering personal training?
If you are considering personal training, it likely means you’re ready for change. Regardless of your goal, working with a trainer takes the guesswork out of the process, helping you stay accountable and getting you results. You don’t have to be “fit enough” to start, just willing to show up. A trainer’s job is to support you, challenge you when needed, and make sure every step is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
What are some of your specialties?
I have experience working with people of all ages and experience levels in both one on one and small group settings. However, my passion is resistance training and helping people get stronger at any age or ability level. I have extensive knowledge in strength training, muscle building, successful aging, and corrective exercise.
What is your approach to training?
I focus on making workouts fun, efficient, and effective to produce sustainable and predictable results. If you are new to exercise, I coach you through movements for all the basic movement patterns: push, pull, squat, hinge, and carry. This sets the foundation for your lifting journey.
What do you enjoy about being a personal trainer?
Being a trainer feels like being your gym partner. I am grateful for all the people I’ve been blessed to work with and get to know on a personal level. I also love seeing clients make progress and perform movements or lift weights that they only dreamed of before.
