What are some of your specialties?
As a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) accredited by ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association), I specialize in functional fitness training across various age ranges. In addition to my CPT certification, I hold a certification as a Nutritionist Specialist, enabling me to provide comprehensive guidance on the nutritional aspects of fitness. Drawing upon my athletic background, where I achieved consistent first and second-place rankings in track and field during high school, I bring a strong emphasis on athletic performance and functional fitness to my training approach.
What is your approach to training?
My approach to training centers around a comprehensive focus on functional fitness. I place great importance on assisting my clients in acquiring new movement patterns as an initial step. This approach optimizes their potential for success by allowing them to develop new skills and familiarize their bodies with diverse movements. Once my clients have gained a level of comfort and proficiency in mastering these movements, I transition my attention to leveraging their acquired skills towards achieving their specific fitness goals. This progressive approach ensures a solid foundation for long-term success and sustainable progress in their fitness journey.
What do you enjoy about being a personal trainer?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a personal trainer is the opportunity to witness individuals achieve their goals. It is a deeply gratifying experience to witness the profound transformation that occurs not only in their physical appearance but also in their overall lifestyle. Witnessing individuals gain confidence, reshape their bodies, and embrace a healthier way of living is truly humbling. The sense of fulfillment that stems from knowing that I have played a role in their journey towards improved fitness and well-being is immensely satisfying. Seeing firsthand how individuals can positively change their lives through fitness is a source of great enjoyment and fulfillment in my role as a personal trainer.
